Fairy Rings and Pathways

we are all familiar with circles and rings but few realise most are the earthly realms of our fairy folk . Vegetation twist into a magic fairy circle, or a mound of moss with flowers growing around it. The trees seem to know that fairies require space in the forests and magical woods for the faerie rings and circles - were the moonlight floods in and casts mysterious shadows and the fairies dance and cast their spells.

If a human kind comes across the party the fairies appear as magical statues that you would find in an enchanted garden

Through the woods, and glens the little people have their own narrow paths and trails leading across the countryside, many paths can be found inside houses and appear to come to a dead end when you see a ghostly figures walking these paths. These fairy pathways are so old that whatever is built upon them have no effect. Your garden statues and ornaments may well obstruct a faerie trail leading to their enchanted garden.

Tree Fairies

Some fairies are linked only to one or two special trees. In the distance past the world was covered in forests with gentle lakes and mild climates. Many ancient people would find oracles associated with trees The fairy triad of trees are ash, oak and thorn, if you have these trees in your garden you could well have the beings of a fairy enchanted garden and those figures you see in the twilight are not garden statues or fairy ornaments but the wee folk sitting under the trees!

Fairies can be very mischievous and an ash wand can help you control a naughty faerie and could turn temporarily into a stone statue in the garden.

You should always be careful about damaging a fairy tree as the little folk may well seek to damage your garden ornaments and plants in revenge, how would you like you home disturbed!
